There was a crazy looking full moon this evening so I just had to take a picture of it. This was taken off my back deck (facing east) on a tripod mounted Nikon D700 w/ a 70-200mm lens. f16 @ 1/8th sec exposure

Sneak Peek – Noah | Louisville Baby Photographer

Last weekend I did Noah’s 9 month photo shoot. It is amazing how time flies. It seems like just yesterday I was taking his newborn pics. His last session of the baby’s first year package will be here in no time. I had fun this time just following him around his house and capturing images of him just being him. No poses, no props, just a baby being a baby. Here are a few of my favorites so far.

Jackson’s One Year Pictures | Louisville Children’s Photographer

Last week Jackson stopped by to get his one year pictures done. He has grown up so fast and is now walking and running all over the place. We had trouble getting him to smile and stay still….until we started singing Mickey Mouse to him. After that he was dancing and smiling in place and I think we got some great pictures of him. Here are a few of my favorites.

Sneak Peek – Isabella | Louisville Newborn Photography

Last weekend I had the opportunity to photography little Isabella. She was a such good sport and for being just two weeks old, she did very well with all we put her through. I did an on-location shoot at the client’s house and it was an absolutely beautiful house to take pictures at. I cannot wait to come back for more and really explore the creativity of the house in my photography. Here are a few of my favorites so far from the newborn session. There really were so many that I liked that it was hard to choose. Thanks and enjoy!

We had a new addition to the family this week. Hayden Matthew was born this week and is doing great. We are so blessed and love our new addition! I am sure he will be in front of the camera a lot.

Sneak Peek – Oliver Family | Louisville Family Photographer Matt Durst

Last weekend I had the chance to do some outdoor family portraits of the Oliver family. Once again, the weather was looking like it wasn’t going to be in our favor. In fact, it was raining just 15 minutes before the photo session began. Even though it was a little cloudy, I think the pictures turned out great. I really love the fall colors. Here are a few of my favorites.

It was a cold Saturday morning and for awhile it looked like the weather wasn’t going to hold out. Fortunately, it didn’t rain and it really turned out to be a beautiful morning to take pictures despite the cold. Noah was great and I think we got some really good pictures! Sneak Peek – Alisha | Louisville Maternity Photography

I just got finished doing a maternity photo session with Alisha. She is due in mid-November with a baby girl they are naming Bella. I really, really like doing black & white maternity pictures. I think they are so elegant and they make a really great piece to frame. I love how the pictures have turned out so far! Here are a few of my favorites.
